In a small Acadian city in New Brunswick in 2005, young drag queen Mona is auditioning for America’s Next Top Model. Through the gaze of her camera operator best friend we get to know her environment, dreams and fantasies. These visual landscapes – in juxtaposition with the regional Chiac dialect spoken – offer a witty queer exploration of contemporary Acadian cinema.
